A decade of grassroots service in Chembur and Mumbai — driven by conviction that every person deserves health, education, and dignity.
Born from the Heart of Chembur
Established in 2015 by a group of committed social workers, Seva Samajik Sanstha was founded with one simple belief: that disadvantaged people deserve the same access to health, education, and hope as everyone else.
With nearly 24% of people in Chembur and Mumbai living below the poverty line, the need was — and remains — immense. Since our founding, we have grown from a small community initiative into a registered, ISO-certified NGO operating across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, and greater Maharashtra.
Our Patient Aid Program alone has assisted over 1,000 patients. We’ve distributed food, clothing, and notebooks to thousands of children and families. We’ve partnered with organisations like CHAI (Catholic Health Association of India) for large-scale health surveys. And through it all, we have maintained our founding promise: to serve every person regardless of gender, age, caste, or religion.
